We stayed at Prestige Hotel Budapest for romantic vacation, without the kids :) We looked for a pampering hotel in a central location, a hotel with good recommendations and a good price. The Hotel Prestige answered all our expectations. The hotel restaurant Costes downtown, Michelin star, has definitely upgraded our holiday with delicious breakfasts and a unique lunch.
The Hotel
The 4-star hotel has a luxurious design and luxurious rooms. The hotel reopened after the historic building was restored two years ago in early 2015. The hotel was designed in an elegant, luxurious and modern style. The service at the hotel is excellent. They welcomed us with a smile and were always willing to help happily with any question. The hotel has 85 rooms on the hotel's 6 floors . The rooms are opened to an indoor gallery. The hotel has a Michelin restaurant, gym and relaxation room with a pampering Jacuzzi and dry sauna.
Location
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the tourist area of Pest, the eastern part of the Danube, within a 5-10 minute walk from the main attractions. The hotel is very near the beautiful Danube, and the Metro and bus stations, so you can easily reach more distant places in town, but since the hotel is in the center of everything we had almost no need for public transport and most of the time traveled by foot. The hotel's reception welcomed as with smile, and was always willing to help, guide and to give recommendation. The rooms
The hotel rooms at absolutely justify the name of the hotel "Prestige" - luxury, elegance and luxury. We were staying in the Prestige suite which included two large areas: the living room space carefully designed and equipped, and the bedroom space with large bed. Room service was excellent. The room was cleaned in the morning, and in the evening the night service arranged the room again, changed towels and left a sweet treat near the bed.
The luxurious design also continues in the adjacent, well-equipped shower room. Room includes a spacious shower, bathrobes and hairdryer.
They thought of everything at the hotel, and there is a bag for the relax room and the gym with towels and slippers.
Each room has a smart TV with a unique interface that includes all the TV channels, all the information about the hotel, room service and information about the city's attractions.
Relax & Fitness Room
We especially enjoyed the Relax room located on the first floor with large Jacuzzi and dry sauna. The room continues the stylish design line of prestigious hotel, and certainly provides a romantic experience.
Costes downtown
The hotel's restaurant Costes downtown , a Michelin star, was a great addition to the experience with delicious breakfast, and unique lunch.
The restaurant offers guests a rich breakfast buffet style, with individual serving of eggs (omelet, eggs Benedict, etc.). The buffet includes a variety of breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, freshly squeezed juices and sweet desserts.
For extra price you can upgrade your meal, get champagne glasses, and choose between toasts with goose liver and apple chutney:
Or blintzes with crispy cream, smoked salmon and caviar. Definitely a treat!
